Around the world in 80 days (year 2)
ThierryfromFrance posted a topic in MontblancHello, you'll find the whole new collection "Around the world in 80 days (year 2)" on Montblanc's website, with nice pictures available. Alas, it seems there'll be no dedicated pouch this time. For instance, on the French website, see: https://www.montblanc.com/Search/Index?ynap_fr_fr[query]=around the world&textsearch=around the world&siteCode=MONTBLANC_FR&langId=5 Thierry
Authenticity Of We Pens?
macball posted a topic in MontblancA series of Montblanc WE rollerball pens have appeared on an auction site that don't quite look right. The Jules Verne is normally a lacquer blue. Did MB make a second series in black? This looks like a cross between Verne and Twain. All of the pens for sale are rollerballs and similar ones are sold on line for $13 not $500+. However, the seller has 60+ positive feedback and a history of selling vintage (authentic?) MB pens suggesting that they are authentic or may not know they are replicas. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Montblanc-Jules-Gabriel-Verne-Writer-Edition-Rollerball-Pen-Black-Lacquer-Metal-/331481385182?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item4d2dd488de
Jules Verne Edition
PartTimeRogue posted a topic in WatermanHi everyone, I'm hoping someone can give me a bit more information about a pen that I bought off eBay. I bought it for my boyfriend's birthday in a couple of weeks - as a bibliophile myself and he a Waterman collector, this seemed like the perfect gift for me to give him. However, I know nothing about it other than what the eBay description said. The eBay listing said the seller was selling the pen on behalf of a friend. This friend worked in the film industry and had been given the pen - he apparently couldn't remember who by or remember who had signed it. Does anyone recognise these signatures? - a long shot I know! I was mainly hoping someone could answer a couple of questions I have since I can't find anything on Google! What year(s) were these designs produced? Are they limited editions? How many were made? http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/m501/ScreamAtGhosts/20140715_192550.jpg http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/m501/ScreamAtGhosts/20140715_192605.jpg
Organics Studio Jules Verne Nautilus Blue
nomadhacker posted a topic in Ink ReviewsThis is a very light blue. It's a pretty color, but when you're writing with it, it seems like it's coming out so pale. It does tend to dry a little darker. It flows really well. And it has water resistance. Win. It's hard to tell how light this ink seems when viewing the swatches online. I think this scan gives a good idea of how it is when it dries. If you use a broader nib or a really wet pen, this would probably be darker, judging from my smudges So perhaps I should try it in my stub nib and see how I feel. But since I tend to use finer points, this is probably just a little more pale than I would usually use.

Fake Jules Verne?
Smurf posted a topic in MontblancNoticed a strange looking pen in my *bay feed this afternoon - 171164399891. Seems to have Jules Verne furniture, but is advertised with a "resin" body. This is the first time I've noticed an attempt at a WE - have there been others?
