A series of Montblanc WE rollerball pens have appeared on an auction site that don't quite look right. The Jules Verne is normally a lacquer blue. Did MB make a second series in black? This looks like a cross between Verne and Twain. All of the pens for sale are rollerballs and similar ones are sold on line for $13 not $500+. However, the seller has 60+ positive feedback and a history of selling vintage (authentic?) MB pens suggesting that they are authentic or may not know they are replicas. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Montblanc-Jules-Gabriel-Verne-Writer-Edition-Rollerball-Pen-Black-Lacquer-Metal-/331481385182?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item4d2dd488de

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can give me a bit more information about a pen that I bought off eBay. I bought it for my boyfriend's birthday in a couple of weeks - as a bibliophile myself and he a Waterman collector, this seemed like the perfect gift for me to give him. However, I know nothing about it other than what the eBay description said. The eBay listing said the seller was selling the pen on behalf of a friend. This friend worked in the film industry and had been given the pen - he apparently couldn't remember who by or remember who had signed it. Does anyone recognise these signatures? - a long shot I know! I was mainly hoping someone could answer a couple of questions I have since I can't find anything on Google! What year(s) were these designs produced? Are they limited editions? How many were made? http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/m501/ScreamAtGhosts/20140715_192550.jpg http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/m501/ScreamAtGhosts/20140715_192605.jpg

This is a very light blue. It's a pretty color, but when you're writing with it, it seems like it's coming out so pale. It does tend to dry a little darker. It flows really well. And it has water resistance. Win. It's hard to tell how light this ink seems when viewing the swatches online. I think this scan gives a good idea of how it is when it dries. If you use a broader nib or a really wet pen, this would probably be darker, judging from my smudges So perhaps I should try it in my stub nib and see how I feel. But since I tend to use finer points, this is probably just a little more pale than I would usually use.

Hello everyone Has anyone bought the new Jules Verne ink from Organics studio? I would like to see some handwritten samples (how it shades, and similar inks…). I'm also interested in the other new inks by Organics. Thanks!

Noticed a strange looking pen in my *bay feed this afternoon - 171164399891. Seems to have Jules Verne furniture, but is advertised with a "resin" body. This is the first time I've noticed an attempt at a WE - have there been others?
