I recently purchased and restored this beautiful piston filler, and I'm trying to learn some information about it. The only markings on the entire pen are "Favorit" on the cap, and "Warranted Wing Flow" on the nib. My best thought is that this is some kind of knock off, but the quality of the materials and build make me think that this is more than just a copy. Does anyone have any thoughts or perhaps any
The National seems to be rather an obscure German brand, not often mentioned on fountain pen forums. As far as I can say their pens were of good quality but that's it; of no spectacular design and lacking far reaching innovation.
