Endless Alchemy Mystic Forest Many thanks @JungleJim for the sample. This was part of blind ink testing on another FP website. They have very cleverly designed ink bottles and seem to be still available from some retailers in North America and Europe. It is my understanding that these inks are made for Endless Stationary, but I'm not sure where they are made. The bottles are clearly 60 ml, but on some websites they are sold as 45 ml. 😕 Photo: Courtesy of Endless Stationary. This is dark green/teal chameleon of a colour (mint green/teal to dark green) and changes depending paper/pen/ nib combo you use. The shading varies from non-existent, subtle to extreme depending on the parameters above. Colour is lovely when wet but sort of dries blandly. Ink is very wet. Lubrication is slightly below average. I disliked writing with a B Lamy Safari nib. It was like driving on ice with summer tires (tyres) I haven't tried it in a really wet pen. I don't know how it'll behave. Dry times are very long on Rhodia. So think above 50 seconds on Japanese paper. It doesn't like copy paper, it'll ghost and bleed its heart through. I loved doing washes with it, ink has this very lovely magical/mystical feel to it. Cleaning while easy needed quite a bit of flushing. It felt like drying with a different in. Washes. The bottle looks fun · What I did not like: Too wet. Dried ink is just a darkish green. Name is too long. You might need a big desk to show the botte off · What some might not like: Too wet. Longish dry times. · Shading: Variable. · Ghosting: Yes, on cheap paper, however, you can get away with a Japanese Ef. · Bleed through: Same as above. · Flow Rate: Very Wet · Lubrication: Slightly below average. · Nib Dry-out: Did not notice. · Start-up: Great · Saturation: Nice dark green. · Shading Potential: See notes above. · Sheen: A hint. · Spread / Feathering / Woolly Line: You can find some if you look with a magnifying glass on copy paper. · Nib Creep / “Crud”: Did not notice. · Staining (pen): No. · Clogging: Did not notice. · Cleaning: Ink is concentrated, so it need a bit of soak and flushing to clean. · Water resistance: Non-existent. · Availability: 60 ml bottles.
