  1. Hi everybody from Istanbul, I have been following this wonderful forum for months and waited to write a message up to day because I need your help. I won a bid at ebay and bought a Delta Dolcevita Federico Media Oro Fountain Pen with Fusion Nib from Martemodena_Europe. I think most of you are familiar with martemodena. My pen is not "Stantuffo" but "Media". I asked Giulio from Martemodena the difference between two models and thanks to him he replied very fast with below answer: "Regarding the Stantuffo has the real piston filler and the ink ispection window, and regarding Media it is ink converter which can be used as piston filler as well" As far as I know Stantuffo models are also ink converter which can be used as piston, am I wrong? So my question is that, is there any friend here who has Dolcevita Federico Media model pen and can you send me some pictures, especially about the filling mechanism? Thanks in advance for the replies.
  2. Ingolf got a Delta Dolcevita Stantuffo Oro a few days ago and wrote a nice mini-review of this wonderful pen. I have been shopping these pens for a short while, and with Ingolf's very positive reaction and the concurrence of several other FPN members, I pulled the trigger. The model I ordered has gold-plated hardware and a Fusion stub nib. Do you still call it "buyer's remorse" when you wonder why you waiting so long to buy an item? The ink is the Delta blue ink that came with the pen. Paper is Rhodia 5X5. This stub nib/paper/ink combination writes like a crisp cursive italic in terms of line differentiation, yet it is smooth enough for easy American cursive script. Blind Cap unscrewed, revealing the piston knob. The Delta Fusion Stub nib I'm already shopping for a model with a 14K or 18K stub. One must have this to conduct a good assessment of the Fusion nib, after all. The sacrifices one makes in the interest of scientific validity. David
