  1. Bhavna

    Diamine Shimmer 2018 Starlit

A beautiful, well behaved blue-teal with silver shimmer. Black n red, Taroko Breeze and Fabriano Notebooks
  2. Another exclusive ink produced for Cult Pens by Diamine Inks, review sample kindly provided by Diamine.
  3. I was given a bottle of this gorgeous ink to try and as a lover of grey inks, I was delighted. Earl Grey is aptly named, it has incredible shading and I love the purple hint in it. I have it inked in two pens (well, why use only one...?!) It will be available in both 30 and 80ml shortly.
  4. I am blown away by this ink. I have never been a fan of 'light' or pastelly inks, in fact I dislike them quite a bit. So having tried this ink, I repeat, I am blown away. This is a beautiful, beautiful blue-green ink, think distant shores and tropical waters with a million diamonds glinting away that make you long for a holiday and a cocktail while the sun warms... Back to the ink.. it is glorious, and the silver particles enhance it greatly. What I wasn't expecting was the crazy red sheen! What do you think? omg
  5. I fell in love with Cobalt Jazz (after overcoming my dislike of the name). This is a rich, regal almost electric blue ink and reminds me of Lapis and King Tutankamun's golden sarcophagus. It has the most amazing red sheen that compliments the gold perfectly. It has been a joy to use this ink. This is one I would happily buy gallons of...! I have struggled to capture the true blue of this ink with little luck.I may try and upload scans later if I can. Swatches on BlacknRed, Breeze Notebook and Rhodia
  6. I love red and deep burgundy inks, they hold lovely memories. Wine Divine did not disappoint, it is a beautiful deep wine coloured ink enhanced by gold shimmer. It shades well despite being so rich. Swatches on BlacknRed, Breeze notebook and Rhodia
  7. Hello Friends, I have had the pleasure of reviewing Diamine's latest series of Shimmer inks, a set of 10 with 5x silver particled and 5x gold particled inks. I have tried out reviews in the Breeze Notebook containing Tomoe paper in contrast to using my trusted Black n Red Quad. The results are quite something, however, capturing them hasn't been easy. I look forward, as always to your thoughts and feedback. The set will be available in the next few weeks. This was a lovely shading, but difficult ink to use for any prolonged period of time and I had to give up with it. I wish it was a darker shade of citrus that didn't hurt my eyes so much.
  8. Electric Pink is a lovely shade of gentle pink that doesn't feel terribly electric. More a sorbet or bubblegum kind of shade. However, its is a lovely pink and I loved the shading.
