hi. recently brown colours grew on me. however, kaweco's brown ink, diamine sepia, and j. herbin's lie de thé were a bit too red, and too bright for my (temporary) preference. looking into my ink drawer, i thought that a mix of diamine sepia with imperial blue (3 parts sepia + 1 part blue) might work. so far, i used up one filling of my pelikan M200 without problems. i'm still observing the mix in the glass, but so far no precipitations or other unwanted incidents occured. the scan shows a little bit of spill on a cheap envelope, and a writing sample (with the usual excuse for terrible handwriting) on clairefontaine notebook paper. cheers, sebastian edit: i forgot to mention, that the ink is quite wet and feathers on cheap paper. however, it gives some nice shading. all in all, i'm happy with its properties.
