  1. Hello everyone, I went to the DC Pen show last weekend, and fell in love with a pen that I didn't know anything about. I've attached a few pictures to show the pen opened and closed with a full sized pen case and lined notebook paper for scale. (Sorry for the bad quality pics -- I had trouble getting them small enough to post!) This little acrylic Laban pocket pen caught my eye immediately, and even after walking through the whole show, I just kept going back to it. I have a weakness for pocket pens, and this one isn't too thin and feels very comfortable in my hand. It twists to po

    Dc Pen Show Release

We're coinciding the release of our latest fountain pen with our first trip to the DC Pen Show. Our latest release in our Signature Series, the Vertex fountain pen will be available for purchase exclusively at the DC Pen Show August 3-5. This new release is a pocket fountain pen machined from U.S. made acrylic acetate. It is designed as an eyedropper but can also accept standard international cartridges. It features a non-standard grip section that widens to the width of the barrel and when machined out of translucent material provides an "ink window" that is visible with the cap on or off. Th

    Fed Pens Blog/grand Re-Opening!

https://federalistpens.com/blogs/news/the-federalist-pens-papers-19-new-site Here is the link to my latest blog- from my new Shopify Platform! A much better shopping experience! I am very pleased with this change! Even the "Back Office" at Shopify is a pleasant experience! a "One Man Pen Store" can run it! To minimize down time- I have also purchased the http://federalistpens.com URL- the old URL will also point to this site (as soon as DNS Servers allow it). I was actually reluctant to use that URL when I first started.. no disrespect to Hamilton! LOL! Visit the site- Read the Bl
  4. Nathan Tardif sent out a news release about his latest ink named "House Divided". The description sounds like a semi-permanent purplish ink with a blue component that washes away leaving behind a permanent red line. His announcement indicates it will be available for the DC Pen Show. I plan to attend Saturday and will be looking for a bottle.
  5. Happy Anniversary Fed Pens! It's been two years already since we started Federalist Pens! It's hard to believe that it has been that long already! I have come a long way since the forum days of selling vintage items to fund the hobby that I love! The hobby that I still share with you, even as a retailer! The support has been great, and we have acquired several great brands over the past year! For pen brands- we have added Bexley, Aurora, and Montegrappa to the family! In ink, we took a chance, and added Robert Oster Inks to the line up exactly a year ago this month! Robert asked me to carry th
