From the album: Odds and endsOn the retail packaging for ink converter mini (which is a new product designed to fit the Pro Gear Slim Mini models), Sailor could not be any clearer in the directions for use, as to whether the converter should be filled by drawing ink through the nib and feed of the pen, or instead filled independently of the pen's nib, feed and gripping section.

bc.hiker posted a topic in Fountain & Dip Pens - First StopI'm so new to fountain pens and have questions. Thanks for your patience.... Converters ~ Why are they used? Their advantages? Are they only for cartridge pens? I see them FS on Amazon & eBay, but am not clear on their definition, function and advantage. It looks like they're a very good thing - but if someone can clarify to anyone here who's totally green and just getting their feet wet with fountain pens that would be great. Any answers or help would be appreciated! Thanks!
