  1. I am very attracted to bright colors in fountain pens, especially when they are contrasted with black and metal. Some examples would be new series of Parker Jotter (both ball pen and fountain pen). Among Indian pens, one example I can think of is Click Aristocrat Orange/Red/Pink colour FP. What are some fountain pens (that can be bought from India) that have attractive combination of plain, bright colours or pastel colours?
  2. Today on TWSBI's FB & Instagram pages they announced a Lime green Eco will be available from mid October. Looks pretty nice, although I'll believe it when I see it, considering how long the clear caps took to come to market....

    New Visconti Pininfarina Iridium

Visconti has just introduced the latest addition to their Pininfarina collection, Visconti Pininfarina Iridium. After Visconti Pininfarina Carbongraphite and Nanotech, Visconti has decided to pair up again with the Italian car design firm in order to create this masterpiece. This time, the key material is Iridium. Iridiscence is a physical phenomena that, in different materials and depending on the visible spectrum and corner of view changes colour. This effect, that you may have noticed before in the rainbow, bubbles or a butterfly's wings is present on this fountain pen's body. Furthermo

    Ink Reviews - Accurate Colour

Hey guys... new to the forum, joined a few months back but, just now posting stuff. Was looking at reviews for inks and noticed the colours seems a bit off. I did read the sticky here about why colour differs, which I fully understand because I went to school for art, then graphic design, then part time for photography, also worked in IT for 10yrs so, I have a decent idea of how colour works and how monitors aren't always calibrated properly. Anyways.. not a complaint post. I love all the reviews. Very helpful. A trick I use for photos that works with scanning as well, is to use an 18%
  7. Apologies if I should have posted this elsewhere, and also for being a little(or a lot)OT. I'm watching the tennis, and Rafael Nadal is wearing an outfit which is the exact shade of blue I want in an ink. Like sky blue, only more saturated.....mouth-wateringly blue, blue..... And today is my 60th birthday, and a year ago today my husband had the final stroke which was to lead to him leaving on May 29th. So, thus is a surreal, difficult time, and I am keeping myself busy in ways I can. And apologies again if this is too personal.....but I do love that blue( and I am not by nature a blue
  8. A few weeks ago I was watching Nathan Tardiff's video concerning BSiar. I posted a question in the comments (I'm muskndusk on youtube) asking about the colour changes. Recently I received his response. He said: To which I responded: He has also changed the video description to include this information. If anyone wants to check this, the link is: (Click on the 'watch on youtube' button to read the comments.) I'm not criticising either Nathan or Noodler's, I'm just confused. There does seem to be an appreciable difference in the ink, many people on this forum have commented upon i
  9. Hello guys, I've seen on a website a beautiful Parker 51 insignia manufactured in England with pretty good condition and I was about to place the order. The only question I've got is that the pen comes with a single-tone clutch ring (white-metal). I suppose an insignia/signet should come with a double-tone clutch ring with gold-plated middle recess, is that correct? Please give some advices on this one! Thanks a lot!
