    Ouch! Clipped Clipless...

This just...made me cross my legs and squirm. I had to share the laugh. Someone selling a Lady Sheaffer that has had a clip forced onto it. Talk about finish-ruining. Also, it's in just the orientation to beg for a capful of ink when removing it from the pocket for use! https://www.ebay.com/itm/392257655364 Cheers! Matt
  2. A coworker came into my office yesterday. She had entered a raffle to raise money for a friend, and she'd won a custom fountain pen! Since I'm the biggest fountain pen lover in the office, she offered it to me for free. And here's what a I got: A custom pen from Mini Wood Productions (MWP). It's based on their "Füller" series. MWP is based in Conroe, Texas. Their website says that their pens aren't "kit" but rather "create one at a time on a manual lathe." What an interesting pen. The body is aluminum, but pretty thick (making for a heavy pen-- sorry that I don't have a small enough s
  3. Hey everyone! Toyin here! I am excited, because I got my first custom fountain pen. It is a Ranga clipless cigar style fountain pen. Pardon me, as this is my first fountain pen review. I ordered a Ranga fountain pen from eBay, but the design I wanted was no longer available. I was able to talk with Kandan.M.P, and I had one with a similar design/color scheme made just for me. When I received it yesterday, I was blown away by the weight, feel, and polish on the pen. Let me get into more of the specifics: - this pen can be used with the included Schmidt converter cartridge or as an eyedro
  4. Some of you may remember the short Jetpens Chibi 2 Review I posted several days ago. (Here's the link if you want to read it https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/310064-jetpens-chibi-2-review/ ). I liked the pen a lot, and it was a good size for me, but I was itching to do some sort of modification to it. At first I did some research on going full on crazy and buying a gold nib for it, but at that price point I could have simply bought a Japanese pen with a gold nib, and couldn't really justify the purchase. Instead, I took the broad nib from my Knox Avicenna (I have an EF that I

Here's a large Zephyr in some of the prettiest Lava Explosion material there is: Fire Nebula. This is a Large size, clipless, and includes a matching pen rest, as do all my clipless pens. Nib: JoWo #6. Cartridge/Converter/Eyedroper filler.

  7. So, recently I was cycling through pens and gave my 159 another go. It worked for me for the past week but today the ink spilled out of the top of the cap and into my leather case. Luckily, I cleaned it up and wrapped it in a cloth for the rest of the day I was at uni. Anyways, my solution was to put silicon grease on the top threads in the case that it would happen again. Then I had a thought. What if I left the clip off? I present to you: Quite beautiful IMHO. Sailor 1911L for comparison. NB: just remember to put silicon grease on the top as although it is tight, I wouldn
