As I posted somewhere in FB, we have three pens until the end of the year to go out. The first one is this pen, I get questions like what's your everyday pen? So I decided to make a copy of my everyday pen. The pen is just a Carbon T (my favorite design) with glossy black body and gold hardware. I like the 18k nibs in B, so I made that. It has also a clip. Thing I don't use, but it has one. Its was prototype I just kept for my everyday use, and I think you might enjoy. (you can have it in EF/F/M too of course) Custom grinding, no. The gold is not for making a more expensive pen, its just that I like the way it feels, its what I like to use, besides, the Carbon T was never available with gold nibs before. The second is the "vacumatic", there's an older post here around about that pen, which at the end will be in a less hardcore version as the first prototype, the thing is simple, a piston goes instead of the diaphragm, I'm not the first one in doing that, you'll see a very interesting prototype by Conid from some years ago (it never went into production) that has this feature, what yes its exclusive of our vacumatic is the use of a custom feed in carbon fiber (not a cartridge feed or case that gets modified) with a stainless steel breath tube, plus, the lack of blind cap, the button locks by itself. we deiced to just think in a different solution for that. and the third is a pen so different to whatever you have ever seen that, that's everything I'm gonna say about it. It will be presented in the Paris Design week, we're currently working on the prototypes, afterwards it has to be registered, its just, it's just too different, I think is a pen that will get to be a classic in the future, so stay tuned for that one. Do any of the pen makers here have experience using carbon fiber in a made from scratch pen? I recently purchased a pen made from a kit with a carbon fiber tube and cap, which is really beautiful, but it is a bit heavier than I prefer. Thanks, Grayling

You can pick the nib you want, and you will be able to keep the pen afterwards, current reviews here or online are from very early models or from stuff that has been changed, or discontinued, or both, plus there is almost no information on the pens. Hi everybody, I'm writing here because I have no idea where I should write. But I think those from the industry should write somewhere to make our products visible, specially things like what I have today. I think they fit the spirit of the pen collector and/or pen aficionado. One is called the Magna, a 3.2ml oversize pen. Our first oversize pen. Still a fair slim pen. The second is called the "Avance", advance in English, its I think the only pen ever that can be said it's 100% carbon fiber. another big pen, bur still streamlined. I have many designs in carbon, but you always need some metal here and there, even the ink feeds are plastic, (not reinforced plastic with carbon fibers) In this one, even the feed is not plastic or ebonite, its made of carbon. I have developed a design for a feed in carbon and well, after many versions trials and development it finally works. It's very similar to an ebonite feed. in fact you cannot tell the difference if you're not told. There's no metal in the pen except for 3 screws that are putting the whole thing together. The ink feeding mechanism is quite different to what's out there, and is what I think it's the best I have achieved in that field.It's very simple, you can really load and flush ink in a blink, again, up to 2.5ml which is enough... Both are nice toys. Nevertheless I want to present here two new models that are coming out. Both I think are more oriented to what could interest the pen enthusiast/hobbyist looking for something new. Our models have been always more oriented to other public, but I see some discussions here about pens from me, and I have slowly moved into developing objects that are more to what I perceive this site more about. Both pens are ranging from 2.5 to 3.2ml of ink, that's achieved because of the tolerances carbon fiber has. walls in the pen body are thinner keeping this pens between 11 to 12mm, you'll notice that similar capacity pens in any acrylic or celluloid are about 15mm or so.......they just have thicker walls because of the weakness of the material involved. Nibs are in steel as standard but they can be fitted with gold 14k/18k with nib customization (only for gold nibs) upon request. check the site for more information on this and other pens. www.venvstas.com

hello there!!!!!!!!!! I'm starting this tread, I'm new to the site and the fact I'm new to the site is because being a long time collector of Parker pens, and pens in general, fountain pens, I got a present from a friend. I'm american and I live in france, (because of my wife basically), and I got for my birthday a new pen I haven't seen before, I had no idea: After going here and there in internet (including this blog) I found out that apart from a twitter and a web site, there is no information on 'em. I had to ask my friend where did he bought it, and he did not wanted to say, as I could see the price of the gift... and it was in a small design shop in Paris, that's all. The pen is really nice, and has something that reminds me of the Lamy design, but the construction is like something I haven't seen before, in any of the pens I own. it's a piston filler (although not quite) which makes more difficult the thing as in the web site I couldn't find any piston filler for sale at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, although it said something like "coming soon" I wrote to them, but they said to me that they were only selling that model through design shops, that they are with too much work and they are still a small company, nevertheless, Very strange, for the rest, The pen is a good one, and I'm using it every day. If somebody owns one, please, let me know, I'm planning to buy more of them The name of the thing I have is called something like Venvstas Schreibemeister Aero...........the name sounds german to me, but anyway....apparently it's french, at least I was talking with a guy name Pascal. Dear all, this is my review-like, or, more or less description I should say, as an answer from an user from Poland who asked for any information on this brand, venvstas, The model is called Venvstas Carbon T. It's a pen of the same size of a lamy 2000, but 1cm thick all made in carbon fiber, with a thing they call velvet finish. The texture and the material it reminds me the finish of the Visconti Pininfarina; I had both pens in my hands once, so I can say is the same material. The difference is that the pininfarina is 800 euro, and for this one I've payed 50. Although they are quite different pens. Im attaching some pics of the one I own, a pen that was bought in Paris a couple of years ago in a shop that was not about pens, but about carbon fiber items. For those who're familiar with Paris, or from Paris (I don't live there, but I go often because of my work) this shop was in Le Marais, and last time I went there to take a look for more strange things, the shop/gallery went out of business....nevertheless, this is one of their pens. I do not pretend to do a review quite like most users they do here, as my hand writing is awful, but I can share some pictures that are a bit better to the ones I've used to answer a previous topic. The pen in question is a fountain pen, that uses cartridges, in my case I have it with a schmidt converter. I have contacted the makers in order to have some original information, also I have asked the makers on why there is so little or no presence at all in fountain pen blogs, forums and sites of the like, and the answer was that they are oriented to other type of customers. Maybe this is a mistake, and maybe that's why the pen I got was in a design oriented shop and not in a pen shop. The Carbon T as it's called, has a stainless steel M nib, 5mm feeder; very flexible, and the overall design of it is minimal. i don't write I draw, so I can say, I like to draw with it. The pen is really the most minimal pen I've ever had or seen, it reminds a bit the lamy cp1, but the look, feeling and design is to me superior. Plus, both pens are priced at almost the same price, 48 vs 50. I have no idea if this company is meant to compete with lamy, but, I have to say that the nib is superior, its really a truly flexible nib, and the carbon fiber construction vs the aluminum one, I think to me is nicer, as it's never cold, nevertheless, its a very lightweight pen, it has a stainless steel clip, very small, and the cap can be posted in a very strange way, its somehow inserted inside. A feature I have found interesting; the pen works with a kind of push-pull system to take off the barrel, which proves practical, and so the cap. I can answer any question if somebody ask me on it, plus, I've checked the web site, and I have not seen this model, perhaps it has been discontinued, or who knows. I also recommend to just contact this people, in the web site it's not possible to find it, and I'have never registered this pen on it. Apparently you can register your products, but that's something I never do no matter what. Regards, Jay

Also in the Carbon Fiber Finish which is under a clear shiny coat. Using a waterman intense black cartridge in it currently since none of my standard international converters work in it (too thick for the barrel of the pen). Feels nice, not too heavy, cap is a little odd though (and not something would want to post). If I didn't get this one, it was going to be the leather one. That nib is smoooooooooth though, with a good flow to it, will have to see if it starts right back up tomorrow or not, this one might be my carry-everywhere pen. Hello FPN, its been awhile since I updated anything... But I recently made a purchase that could not go quietly! I must admit I absolutely love my Visocnti pens and have been flirting with the idea of adding one more... They have massive ink capacity (double reservoir), I love the way they write, and they have that Italian flair (yes, some are a bit too much...but once in awhile they produce pens with the golden balance between pizzazz and utilitarian, the result is just magic!) So.. I finally pulled the trigger Incoming VERY soon to my stable: Visconti Skeleton, Carbon fiber! (LE of 22) Please help me celebrate! (will definitely post pictures once I open it up, maybe even a review) Cheers! Michael
