With the introduction of the new sailor x plus shop Ancira, sailor introduced custom pro gear making, do you think sailor would expand that and offer special nib customization or grinds to it too? Ps why haven’t we still seen other nib sizes to the kop model or sailor triple stacked nib ?

Ancora Will Be Restarting The Omas Brand, Including Production Of The Paragon And 360.
chaunceutoben posted a topic in Italy - Europe
I just purchased a modern Ancora pen and was doing a bit of research on the brand. I had known for a while that Ancora had purchased the OMAS brand (with the rodstock going to ASC and the equipment to SCRIBO) but this is the first I heard of actual plans to restart the OMAS name and models. To see the Paragon and 360 again would be incredible. They obviously don't have the OMAS celluloid to work with but Ancora has some incredible materials of their own so I am excited to see what they come up with. Plus all Ancora materials, including nibs, are machined in-house which brings that special OMAS flair in my opinion. Cool stuff. Link: http://ancora1919.com/history-and-production/. The OMAS info is at the end. -
I tried to post an ad in the classifieds the other day, but it kept insisting I needed to attach a photo, which I did, several times. Very frustrating. So, I have tried the more appropriate forum without success, and now I am going to try this. I have an Ancora Perla (red) with silver colored [not certain what actual metal - palladium?] nib and bands. The nib is too badly damaged to repair, and the feed is bent as well. I am looking for a replacement. Bryant at Chatterly has tried to find one for me through Ancora, with no luck, Does anyone here have one, or know of a source I might try? Some months ago, I had an offer, but it was a gold colored nib, and I would prefer to keep it as close to original as I can. Thanks all!

Hi, I am attaching pictures of the first and only Ancora pen I have ever owned. I picked this up at the Dallas pen show several years ago. Can anyone help me identify the model? Many thanks!! Mike

Hello, I recently got this pens and I have had a hard time finding a lot of information about them and I was hoping someone can help me out. here is what I know 1. Omas - The barrel imprint says Omas Extra PREV 445946-454162. This is a Crok piston Filler, with a very flex nib and made of the red scarlet celluloid, So far i can put this on the 1930's but again it is just a guess. 2. Ancora, looks to be an Ancora lusso , but I could not find pictures of one with a black cap and end such as this one. it does have an striated body but is black with tinted yellow transparency. semi flex nib. Forgot to mention . they are uninked and never used! I'm having hard time not to ink them. http://i.imgur.com/UVaOkuX.jpg http://i.imgur.com/cjjFw0H.jpg http://i.imgur.com/xSOVcpr.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/z3rchxt.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/oUaTEzS.jpg

Hi, I'm contemplating acquiring an ancora Lusso, but so far the information I have found is very limited, is there someone who can give me more information about it? Their quality, nibs and if found in good condition what I should be prepare to budget for? How difficult is their repairs/maintenance ? Many thanks Jack
