  1. Greetings, I've come upon a lovely and brassing-free full cone cap overlay...but alas is missing the nib and feed. I've positively identified the nib I'm hunting for as an Aiken Lambert #1. If I find the nib, I can probably fabricate a feed by turning down one I have ... Let me know if you might have one kicking around in a parts drawer! Cheers, Morgan
  2. Hi folks, I've picked up a nice, shiny BCHR Aikin-Lambert lever filler at auction. The only real oddity is the logo of the Baltimore-based "KNABE" piano company imprinted in green on the top of the cap (See pics, below). According to Wikipedia, this is a version of the logo that came into use around 1904: The imprints on the clip (PAT'D Sept.25.05) and (ALCo) seem pretty common, as soes the engraving on the nib (14KT ALCo). The barrel has no markings at all, and the only marking on the cap is the pictured logo. My question: Does one regard this as a "Knabe" branded pen, as a marketing imprint (for giveaway,) or as a "property of" marker? Any info welcome :-) Thanks, Jonathan
