  1. Hi! My brother asked me to dispose of a stash of pens which includes a Montblanc 146 4810 with a broken nib. Pics are attached. The pen itself seems in OK condition: some wear on the body, no nicks or big scratches, the piston mechanism works fine. I don't want to keep the pen as it is too big for me. Should I just post it on eBay, or buy a new nib and then sell it? What minimum price do you recommend, repaired or as is? The serial number on the ring is FB108683 W-Germany. Thanks much!

    Help A Noobie!

Hello everyone. I was given a Montblanc pen from my dad to sell. I know next to nothing about it. It's at least 15 years old, because that's when my dad got it from a relatives estate. No box or paperwork. It hasn't been used in at least 10 years. There's an ink cartridge (?) in it, but doesn't seem to write. I've attached a bunch of photos. My questions are... 1) What exactly do I have? 1) Should I get it working before I list it? How would I do that? 2) Where/how do you recommend I sell it and for how much? Thanks everyone!

  7. Hi guys, I bought this pen at the marché aux puces in Poland for $3 I am not the MontBlanc expert, so I am no sure what the model is. On the cap I can read: "4810" and below: "MONTBLANC//\\MEISERSTUCK". The pen has other imprints, but I can't read them in all. Something is on the barrel, but completly unreadable and on the head of piston (photo no 5)... maybe 2F, EF and D, but I am not sure.I think that body was made of black rubber. Pen has 18ct gold nib, marked 25 with MB logo. Anybody knows what model this is, when was made and what it's worth? Much more than $3? Thanks
  8. Hello! I´m new here because I've found in the middle of my mom's stuff a Montblanc Meisterstuck cartridge fountain pen and have been told it's quite expensive, and would love to know its real worth, if it´s worthy... It has no case, it says 14K gold nib, around the ring Meisterstuck Germany. Coul anyone tell me about this pen? Its year, how much it could be sold for? If it's worth keeping? Thank you!
  9. Hello--I'm so glad this forum is here. I hope you can help me. I was given a Montblanc (or is it?) by someone who found it in a drawer and didn't want it because "he didn't like fountain pens." The nib is all yellow gold with no inlay and is labeled, starting from the point and reading toward the barrel, 4810, the Montblanc logo, 14k, MONTBLANC, 585. The cap ring reads MEISTERSTUCK-MONTBLANC-. The clip ring, though worn, seems to read W-GERMANY. I apologize for the quality of the pictures. The pen seems smaller than most Montblancs I have seen. It's lovely--but is it a Montblanc? If so, what model? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance--Laurieapg
  10. I find it difficult to find a way to fix my boheme with the prices out there soaring higher than what the pen is worth in reality, and I do love the idea of having a boheme, prices start from 205 euro just to shell itself, and that without the cap and used. Does anyone know that with a size 2 feeder, at 3.9mm length, and with a 2 mm nib in length, 4810, 14k 585 mono color can be used in other pens in general? I do not want to sell this nib, I simply ADORE it to death and if I cannot find a solution fixing my boheme I see me Frankensteining (a new verb in the MB dictionary I read) to save this nib from being stored away. Any ideas are welcome, it does not have to be an MB it can be something else. Thank you in advance.
