  1. Over time, I observed that the 580 could not find much use, primarily because my writing preferences have graduated towards softer and larger nibs along with time. So here comes the saviour from TWSBI - The Vac 700, with a bigger nib of #6 size, and a vacuum plunger mechanism. Personally, I prefer the concept of an ink shut off valve. If you are looking for a review of the 580, here it is. 2. Folks, here’s a quick review of my recently-acquired Franklin-Christoph Marietta 20. In a nutshell, I love this pen. I have two Stabilis 65s from F-C, which are in ice (i.e. see-through), which I turned into eye-droppers for red and blue ink. I wanted a basic black pen for everyday writing in black. Of the three F-C pens I have, this is my favorite. Waterman #20 Availability

Hello, I recently came across some pictures and information on Waterman's #20 fountain pen. As far as I'm aware, it's the largest pen that waterman made, and they were made in black hard rubber and red ripple hard rubber. I'm finding it very difficult to find any more information on the details of this particular model though. Would anybody happen to know how these pens actually perform when used, and whether the #10 nib is flexible at all? Also, what do these pens typically sell for, and where can they be found should I wish to purchase one?
  4. I just received a coral streamlined MB Danish 20, but it's a tad small for my hands -- I generally prefer the length and girth of the 146/136 unposted. I know there is a No. 25 model in the same production time frame. Does anyone know if it's the same size as the No.20, or is it a size #6 equivalent? I have a Simplo No. 25 safetyfiller that is a lot thicker than the slim Danish 20. Would the same girth apply to the Danish 25? Or should one totally ignore the model conventions because these pens are developed separately in Denmark? Also, what does the '5' in No. 25 mean? Sorry for the
