    Montblanc Student Pen

I posted this elsewhere but got no replies. Hope this is a better place for my question. I bought a MB in the early 70’s that I have not seen referenced. It was a students pen I think. It was yellow or butterscotch and black. It had a MB logo that uncharacteristically screwed on (white on black). I sent it to MB for repair many years ago. Recently I came across the sleeve that MB returned it in and the original ink in a plastic MB container. The pen was discarded long ago. On finding the remnants I was compelled to buy a 149. My question:
  2. The original Platinum Higo Zogan was an impulse buy on Ebay. There isn't much information on this pen, but I do know that one blogger (Phthalo) said she enjoyed how this pen writes. I also know that Platinum currently makes a 3776 with a similar higo zogan ring around the cap. Appearance and Design At first glance, this pen is reminiscent of the Lamy 2000 in both shape and feel, but with a Japanese flair. The matte black resin body reminds me of Makrolon but with slightly less of a brushed texture. Its 18K gold nib that looks very similar to that of the Platinum Pocket Pen and ot
  3. I have a Waterman ballpoint and case given to me in the 1970’s. I ask for help in identifying the model and name they assigned to it. I do not see any comparable pens on various websites due to the 2 rings on the bottom portion of the barrel and its tapered curve. The cap snaps on vs. screw on. The widest part of the barrel is 14mm. I cannot find any model number or serial number on it. The top of the cap is at an angle and has the W logo imprinted on it. Anyone have any ideas? See photos please.
  4. Hi, I have a 149 barrel which I believe is from the 70/80's and I want a matching bare cap. I think I may have found one which has the threaded post on the end to take a screw on snow flake top which I happen to have. The present owner of the cap says it's from a Diplomat 149 Meisterstuck. I wouldn't know if my barrel would be designated a Diplomat barrel so what are the chances my barrel and this mans cap would match? Only way to find out is to try it I know. Trouble is it's a long way just for this "fitting". I looked up the Mont Blanc website and there does not appear to be any referenc
