I’m seeking vac fillers which have 1.5mm stub or italic nibs (do they exist?) and/or 1.5mm stub or italic nibs which fit TWSBI GO and/or SWIPE vac fillers. Do these exist? (They need not be from TWSBI — I enjoy Frankenpenning.) Also, what chance is there of anyone being able to persuades TWSBI to resume making their 1.5 mm stub nib? Oh — by the way — what does TWSBI stand for, anyway? I assume that it abbreviates something, and that it may be abbreviating something in Chinese. I don’t know much Chinese, but I do know that a word which sounds like “bee” Is the Chinese word for a pen or pencil, So I wouldn’t be surprised to find that the company name is short for something Chinese.

Hi all, Here is my first review in a while, I've been busy studying for exams. Anyway I'll keep it short and sweet. Here's my review of the Lamy Alstar 1.5 mm Italic and Lamy Turquoise Ink. http://i.imgur.com/lYagdeU.jpg http://i.imgur.com/U7Ut0Ce.jpg Another thing I forgot to mention, the nib seems a bit temperamental sometimes, I might try flushing the pen, maybe there was some residue left over from manufacturing.

Z bought me a Pilot Parallel Pen with a 1.5mm nib and a con-50 converter to try it out. It works pretty well, but neither of us really likes it, and so, gentle reader, our loss is your gain :-). If you live in the Continental United States (or you live on the Big Island of Hawaii, and are willing to wait for us to hand-deliver it to you when we visit in February), and desire a chance at trying one of these pens, now is your big chance. The lucky winner of this PIF will receive one (1) clean, barely used (one day, then converter and pen were emptied and thoroughly cleaned) Pilot Parallel Pen in 1.5mm "Red" (although this is a very Orange looking Red). Comes complete in its box, with instruction sheet, nib cleaning film, feed cleaning pipette, red and black ink cartridges, and as a special bonus a Pilot CON-50 Converter (inside the pen as the box has no special compartment for a conerter).
