  1. Montblanc launched the new Writers Edition recently, honouring Rudyard Kipling (The Jungle Book, If, etc.). We made a small video about both the editions of Montblanc on our Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33SAAGYiZhU What do you think of this new Writers Edition?
  2. #thetimeflowsquietlythelifemakesapoem Hello everyone! Just joined FPN a couple of days ago! Thought I might write about something and commune with the pen community! Few months ago, I started a personal hashtag (#thelifemakesapoem) in Instagram INSPIRED BY A NOTEBOOK COVER "Time Flows Quietly,The Life Makes a Poem". Bought in Mr.DIY, a convenient store in Malaysia Its a project where I adapted some of my friends or well established authors or key person in history; quotes, poetry, poems, prose and sometimes videogames' character creed; and write them into my notebook. Credits to the au

Hello again friends My collection is getting larger So as a new collector I have Pavarotti FP M 149 FP EF Collodi FP B Shaw FP M Schiller FP M Starwalker FP So I made a list of pens I want to get to round it out and was thinking if you could just tell me which ones you believe are the most desirable. I am not trying to make profit but I can not collect all so at least want to have the main ones. Is It Fake? S.fitzgerald

Hi, everyone. I'm finding a WE Fitzgerald and I'd found this one on eBay. But I think it's one of fakes. I never seen the serial numbers like this yellow and just printed. Isn't it?
  6. Hello. I would like to start sharing the writing place of Mrs. Virginia Woolf and some of her writings. http://revistacult.uol.com.br/home/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/VW-1936.jpg It seems that she writes with an OB nib. Does anyone know about her fountain pens? http://www.smith.edu/libraries/libs/rarebook/exhibitions/images/penandpress/large/6c_woolf_als_13feb1921_p1.jpg This is from her writings when she used to study italian language... http://www.smith.edu/libraries/libs/rarebook/exhibitions/images/penandpress/large/4c_italian_notebook.jpg http://www.smith.edu/libr
  7. The University of Reading (UK) displayed Samuel Beckett's drafts for his novel Murphy and ephemeral papers from some of his theatre productions. The manuscript on display consisted of six notebooks of approximately A5 size (they were slightly smaller). On the right hand side he had written his script which consisted of single spaced text in blue fountain pen ink (looked like Parker's Quink, but it is 86 years old). He had crossed out and edited the text in black ink. It looked like a broad/thick medium nib. On the left hand page, he hadn't continued with the draft, but put doodles of gol
  8. Here's another pretty new ink from Organics Studio's Writer's Series. It's a dark, earthy green color. Looks good for serious writing, or a sepia sort of color. Good flow, some water resistance. This is different from my other greens right now. I imagine Noodler's Sequoia or Zhivago, or Private Reserve Avocado is in the ballpark. I have still to try this on cream colored paper, but I think it'd be really nice
  9. Now this is an Edgar Allan Poe ink! (Take notes De Atramentis!) In my opinion, this one's probably the best of the writer's series. This is a great red ink. It's not waterproof. But again, could probably handle a few splashes. And really nice flow. It's got great shading, from bright true red to a deep red. It's a rich color with depth. It doesn't look like just a standard everyday red. This isn't a color that only works for marking up corrections on paper. You could probably use this for normal writing, especially if you're into writing horror stories. Or ransom notes.
  10. Here's another really nice Organics Studio ink that I liked. L Frank Baum Emerald. It's a good green. The flow of the ink is really nice and feels like a more expensive ink. I tend to like green as a color, especially middle green inks. But I thought this a good example of the color. It's not waterproof, not even really resistant. As noted, it held up about as well to water as the wicked witch. I wouldn't use this for taking notes in the rain, or near any pigtailed girls with little dogs and random buckets of water. Basically good color, good flow, keep away from water, and d
