    Places For Striped Duofolds

    Hi everyone! I'm in the market for a nice Senior sized striped duofold. I'm particularly interested in the blue pearl version! Are there any places in Australia who may have a nice one of these? Or anywhere great in the states or other overseas areas? I have been waiting for a reasonable one on ebay but no luck. I can't quite post a WTB yet here, but will once I hit that (30) mark. Lastly, what price are we looking at if we're being fair? Thank you so much!

    I really like pens with ink windows, though I don't have many. 2 questions related to them: 1.) Is there a safe (and hopefully easy) way to restore vintage pens' ink windows back to their original color? I have a Sheaffer Lifetime Balance that writes really well. The ink window seems dark and I imagine that this material has changed color since it was first manufactured, though I'm not sure if this is accurate. If in fact there is discoloration that has happened, is there anything I can do to get that lightened up, making it easier to see the ink inside the pen? 2.) What current production (not custom) pens have ink windows? Those that come to mind are: Lamy Safari and Vista Lamy 2000 Many Pelikans Thanks.

    Pictures at bottom..... Just wondering if anyone can identify or give any information.....I've misplaced my loupe and have had a bad eye infection, so am not great at looking closely. I don't think it's of any value, and can't even remember where or when I got it; eBay, I think, for not much, but it's such a lovely smooth writer, never any trouble starting even when not used for a while.mi got it because it has an ink window, which I love. Any information gratefully received. Alex.

    I've developed a (small) obsession with pens which have that wee window at the top of the barrel: my one and only Mont Blanc, a sweet wee 'rescue' pen(it arrived in a bunch of assorted pens; had no idea what it was. Gave it a glean and some TLC and it's a little sweetheart) ....it's a 254.... anyway, I'd love suggestions about any pens which have that wee window. I just love seeing the ink slosh in there.....
