  1. Does anyone have any insight as a person or company that can provide a real world valuation of a Waterman Edson Boucheron specimen with production error. This pen has been sitting in my collection for years and the other day I was looking at it and realized that the pen was made with a error in it. The gold webbing that covers the body of the pen was placed in the wrong position one portion dips down to line up with the nib. Instead of lining up with the nib it is 45 degrees off and lining up with your thumb(if your right handed.see photos) From what I understand there were 10 specimen models made and they were suppose to be destroyed. I know of one other specimen that came to market years ago and was listed on ebay for what I thought was a astronomical price pf $50,000. Yes I have taken the pen apart to see if the webbing simply shifted but it has not it was simply made wrong.
  2. Does anyone have any insight into how much an 888 edition of the Montblanc Patron of Art Karl de Grosse, Charlemagne fountain pen would be worth on the secondary market? I see one being offered on Ebay for about $10k, but no results there or on LiveAuctioneers, Invaluable, etc. It is lightly used but with no apparent flaws, and I do have the paperwork and boxes. Thanks in advance!
  3. Hi everybody, I recently inherited around 50 pens from my father's collection and I'm looking to have each pen valued. The collection varies from rare and less-rare Mont Blancs, vintage Parkers and Sheaffers, to makes that are either unknown or hard to make out. Once they're valued, I'll probably sell the majority of them and sneak a couple for myself and my wife! I am based in Los Angeles and I'm looking to find someone in the area who might be able to help. Any thoughts or suggestions? Many thanks in advance for your help. Russell
