  1. Contains info about tomoe paper processing. https://www.1101.com/store/techo/en/magazine/contents/feature_tomoerivers/ysmpngg2y.html Plus interview of the Sanzen plant manager. https://www.1101.com/store/techo/en/magazine/contents/feature_tomoerivers/yhk835vke.html Amongst many interesting things: the new paper has the same thickness as the original but weights 47gsm instead of 52 gsm. What a fascinating job they have. Lots of technical talk. I love it.
  2. PenChalet is running a back-to-school sale, and in their highlighted items they have Endless Recorders described as such: We still have some of the Endless Recorder notebooks with Tomoe River paper. Each notebook comes with 192 5 1/2" x 8 3/8" pages of 68GSM paper inside a hard leatherette cover. Choose from several colors in both blank or dot grid. Each notebook has an elastic closure and an expanding pocket on the inside of the back cover. I checked the endless website and they seem to be doing their own 80 gsm paper now. Has anyone tried this Regalia paper that Endless is switching to? I need to know if I have to stock up on dot-journals in my preferred colors while I can. I love the Tomoe River journals.

  8. Hi, I really want to jump on the Tomoe River band-wagon, however I can't find a notebook of the size I'd like. I like B5-sized notebooks. I went to SevenSeas, and the only notebook they offer is A5, which is too small for me. Are there any notebooks available that use Tomoe River paper and are close in size to B5? Thanks.
  9. I have both cream and white available, in 70 sheet packs. PM me for more details.
  10. I'm thinking of making some Tomoe River pads and/or notebooks? What would you like to see here in the UK and in Europe. Open to suggestion. A4? A5? Pads? Bound notepad? Let me know your thoughts..

    Tomoe River Diary

Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows of a perpetual diary made with Tomoe River paper. There is a company in Australia that makes one, however shipping just costs too much to make it worth it, so I am looking for one made in the US. Thanks http://www.bookbindersonline.com.au/collections/notebooks-journals-tomoe-river-paper/products/3-year-diary-perpetual-diary-journal-by-midori
  12. Hi I've finally got everything I need to start making Tomoe River pads in the UK. I'll be making all the pads my self, to the same quality that I'd expect for my self. So question is, what would you like? I think making very ornate leatherbound notebooks will be beyond me, but factors such as number of sheets etc would be handy..!
  13. I have some Tomoe river cream sheets, and also some white as well. £10 for 100 sheets, £18 for 200 sheets, and £26 for 300 sheets. Postage is a flat £2 for posting anywhere in the UK, for any quantity up to 500 sheets. I can provide a custom quote for European orders. PM me if interested
