    Tuned Sailor Pens

Any good recommendations of pen shops that ship internationally and are sailor pen dealers, which also have an option to modify the nib/feed to your personal preference ? share your experience !
  2. Are there any pen stores near Buffalo NY? I am really hoping to try a few pens but the only place I could find was an art supply store that carried overpriced Safari's and the uncomfortable Retro 51 fountain pens. They also had some pens in the $1000+ range but I really don't have that kind of cash to burn. I'm willing to travel across the border into Canada if that helps. Maybe anything around two hours out one way?
  3. Hey all, I'm wondering if there are any fountain pen stores in the Charleston or Columbia, SC area? I was able to find a thread, but that was from 2008, so pretty dated. And I tried Google, but no luck! Any information you can provide will be really helpful! Regards, Rosendust
  4. Hello all! Having recently 'gotten into' Fountain pens, I was naturally interested in any brick and mortar retailers in my own city for the beloved stationary. I found this wonderful guide here on the forum (https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/12113-fountain-pens-in-sydney-australia/), but as it was written in 2006, I though I would give it a bit of an update, after about 6 months experience. In a semiparticular order Dymocks - The Sydney CBD store (Dymocks Sydney) has a specific fountain pen section, with a very wide variety of pens, inks and parts. They have too many to list,

    Sunday In New York

I'm going into the city to meet friends on the UWS for a bite to eat on Sunday. Are there any pen shops you'd recommend I see while I'm there? The legendary Fountain Pen Hospital is closed on Sundays, unfortunately, Any suggestions? Is Lee's on W57 worth a visit? Thanks!
  6. Hey Looking for advice on places to see pens in these cities. I will be traveling to these amazing cities very soon and want to see whether any one has tips and advice specifically on local pen stores. Looking for old stock or vintage pens. Ed: If this is not the right place for this post, please let me know where I should post this.
  7. Bonjour, I went Boxing Day shopping in downtown Montréal and on my way back home, I stopped by the big Essence du Papier store at Place Ville-Marie. There was a little sign on the door that read something like this: Thanks to all our loyal customers, but the store is closed for good as of December 24th. They had another shop on St-Denis street. I checked their web site and it seems they are closed as well. With these shops gone, the only worthwhile paper shop in Montreal is Nota Bene on Parc Avenue - they also cary FPs and the only place in Montréal that carries Diamine inks as far as I know
  8. I'm in Rotterdam for the week and would like to visit a pen shop on the journey. My ideal shop would be one that carried inexpensive Pelikan products, like the Pelikano, Style, and Gallery series. These are largely unavailable in the US. A visit to the Pelikan website turned up a shop, Karlier, at 120Meent, but sadly it seems to have recently gone out of business. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated!
