Refilling Pilot Varsity Mb Fineliner Or Fav Rollerball With Your Favorite Fountain Pen Ink
amberleadavis posted a topic in Inky Thoughts
I just send a new to FPN pen user some black ink samples and a pilot varsity in black. I told him how to do the refill, and drew this little instruction set. These instructions work great for your Montblanc fineliner (I've done it), or rollerball (done it too). I can't take credit for the bright idea, to quote Microsoft, I "embraced and enhanced" this little time saver. http://sheismylawyer.com/She_Thinks_In_Ink/2014-Inklings/slides/2014-Ink_270b.jpg- 8 replies

Where Can I Buy Generic, Promotional, Or Advetisment Ballpoint Pen Refills?
ahmadaamer6 posted a topic in It Writes, But It Is Not A Fountain Pen ....
I have a cheap advertisment pen that I got from my tax guy. I love it becuase it has a great triangular grip that helps reduce pain when writing. Can anyone post a link to a reliable website to where I can buy more refills? I will post a picture of the pen and the refill. Thank you!- 6 replies

Hello everyone! I am quite annoyed. I purchased a 50's Mont Blanc ballpoint pen some time ago and I'm having a hard time finding the good refill. When i got it, it came along with a Schneider Express 225 Fine refill which plastic bottom had been cut out in order to make its length fit the pen's body. It fitted perfectly but soon ran out of ink. I then learnt the Express 225 Fine refills are no longer produced and purchased a Medium size, thinking it would fit in anyway. But it didn't: the nib and pre-nib circumferences are a bit too large. The refill easily gets blocked when I am using the pen, and I have to push real hard on the lever to make itget out and again push real hard on the nib to make it get back in. I enclosed pictures of the pen and refill for your information. I am just causing damages to the pen and need help to find the good refill. What do you think? Which refill could match it? Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

I bought a Lamy pen a while back after a fair bit of research. My main criteria were metal body and metal refill cartridges. I also bought an Ohto, which is my favorite. The Lamy, however, has been a major disappointment, at least as far as the refills are concerned. (I also bought the fp version of the same Lamy pen and I love it.) The M63s don't seem to last very long at all. That's annoying but I could live with that if they wrote well. They don't. They skip, fail to start and fade. I'm on my third one so I can no longer hope I just got a bad one. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm looking into alternate refill options, but c'mon! This was an expensive pen. Is this really what I should expect from Lamy? Mike PS - I've seen reference to 'broad' and 'bold' refill options. Mine has the numbers 211 at the end. Does this tell me what flavor I have?

I recently received a vintage Mont-Blanc Meisterstuck ball point as a gift and was wondering if the new Meisterstuck refills are compatible. The pen is from the late 80s.
