Ink samples need to be exchanged. Ha! Great excuse for a Pen Posse meet! Please note that it will be at the Hillsdale Shopping Center Food Court. Look for Eugene and Mi Mo in the area between Blue Whale Poke Bar and Uncle Tetsu. Probably indoors but the outside area tables are nice too! We will have friends visiting San Francisco and we've arranged a pen posse meetup at the Japan Center Mall in San Francisco's Japantown. The overall plan is to visit Maido and Kinokuniya. At 10:00am, the group will first meet at Andersen Bakery for some caffeine and perhaps breakfast. Then let's walk to the other side of the mall for some stationery goodness. Maido opens at 11:00am. SF Pen Posse: San Francisco Center for the Book

A change of venue for the SF Pen Posse next week! Cheryl was kind enough to reserve and host a meetup space for us at the San Francisco Center for the Book (SFCB). The SFCB has their own parking lot, and there are lots of street parking too. Per Google Maps, there are quite a few food spots within 1 to 2 blocks as well. San Francisco Center for the Book 375 Rhode Island St, San Francisco, CA 94103 Sunday - March 20 at 11:00am-4:00pm *** Per the SFCB website, they will continue to require that all students, instructors, and visitors wear a well-fitting mask (no bandanas or gaiters) while in the Center. *** We do request that for anyone attending to wear a mask for everyone's safety and comfort. A few posse members attended the LA Pen Show, and have called for a posse meet at Peter's Cafe in Millbrae. 10 El Camino Real, Millbrae, CA 94030 Sunday - February 27 at 1:00pm For first-time attendees, we will either be in the private party room or the back area. When you enter Peter's, just ask where the "Pen People" are. =) As of February 16, the County of San Mateo has lifted the mask mandate. It will be two weeks after the San Francisco Pen Show, let’s meet up and share our finds and experiences! More importantly, let’s have a good ol’ pen posse meet! It’s been a while too. The food court at the Hillsdale Mall is nice and roomy (as long as it’s not crowded by other people). Let’s meet up at the long tables next to the windows, which I believe is near “Uncle Tetsu”. If there’s availability, we could probably move to the outdoor seating area. Please wear face masks as it is a county requirement and it helps to keep each other safe.
