  2. The exhibit is shoved against the far wall of the gift store. Poorly lit and largely ignored by staff and visitors. I enjoyed it, but was annoyed the exhibits were blocking each other.

    Is my Parker Classic fake?

Hi, I have just bought 2 Parker Classic pens off Amazon due to how hard it is to find them sold in the U.K. high street shops. I’m a bit concerned that I’ve been sent fake ones, please can someone very knowledgeable verify the legitimacy? The engraving is really faint on one of pens, almost not visible to the naked eye. Also, I noticed that the last R is bigger than the rest off the text on both pens and doesn’t look straight. I have also read from other forums that Parker pens have a crown engraving on the top which mine doesn’t. Moreover, I heard some pens have a date code next to the ‘France’ engraving, I do not have this. I’m not sure whether to put this down to it being a fake or it being a very old pen as it’s not longer being sold. I will try to add as many pictures as possible. Please can someone inform me on this, it will be very much appreciated. Thank you

  6. Hi all My Grandmother and I had this very heartfelt chat in which by the end of it she decided to give me her Parker Pen she has had for many years. I was very touched as I don't think she has been able to fill it with ink, but she always carries it around in her handbag, always :') Anyway I have it now and would be very keen to know what kind of pen this is so I can fill it up, go over to my Grandmothers and just slyly bring it out and start writing something haha. The inscriptions read " THE PARKER PEN CO LTD LONDON ENGLAND","TO FILL, PRESS RIBBED BAR AT LEAST 5 TIMES" If anyone on this website could lend me their keen eye I would be ever so grateful

  8. I am trying to determine the value of my 1933 Duofold Sr. & Jr. burgundy/black set. I know condition is imperative to determining value, and without seeing them in person its very hard to guess. But it is possible to come up with a range for the set. Both pens are in Excellent - Fine condition, with minimal wear on the bodies, the clips show wear, but both bodies have a few light scratches, which could be buffed out, the nibs are in excellent condition with the following numbers; Sr. 0015152 and the Jr. 03403. Neither have had ink usage. See attached images. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance
  9. I'm trying to identify this pen and can't seem to find any with the same type of cap. 1/10 14k Gold Filled Made in U.S.A. is printed on the cap. Can anyone tell me if these go together? Any information you can give me about this pen will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
