    A Very Unusual Parker 95?

I purchased this pen and based on everything I saw on the cap and clip I identified it as a Parker Arrow. However, it has a "U" date code, or a manufacturing year of 1991. Since the parker Arrow was discontinued in 1987, I concluded it was a Parker 95. However, the cap and clip to me, are clearly Parker Arrow designs, so is the U manufacturing date an error, or what do I have here? Thank you.

    Parker 95 Engraving Missplaced?

First and foremost I might have double posted, if I did I am sorry, I didn't mean to. About the pen, I got a Parker 95 filete silver, but I feel like something's wrong. A friend of mine has the exact same pen, they are exactly same (except for the wear marks of course) even the engravings on the cap match up: FRANCE, Q, and that small Parker logo. But of course the nib is slightly different. I can't compare the two nibs right now so I see if mine goes more outwards and so I wanted to ask you if my engraving being farther from where it is supposed to be means that someone tried to pull out the nib but didn't succed, or something else. Here is a picture of the nib: https://imgur.com/a/YoAU6b6
  3. After purchasing a Parker 95 off of the classifieds a few years back, it's become one of my favorite writers despite being a relatively cheap pen. However, I've noticed many of my inks shading slightly towards black the longer I have the ink in the pen. After removing the nib/feed from the section today, I noticed there was a decently sized ink spot just between the feed and the underside of the nib that I couldn't clean, and would assume there's more on the underside of the nib. I've tried soaking it for a few hours (usually plenty long for recent inks), but I suspect it might be a small amount of old, caked ink. To speed up the process and ensure it's completely cleaned (in case the caked ink is slightly corrosive), I'd like to remove the nib. The issue comes in due to the fact that I've never dealt with a pen like the 95 in regards to how the nib is seated, and I do not want to do any damage to the nib should I remove it incorrectly. I've searched online, but information on Parker 95 maintenance is relatively rare and unspecific. Attached is a picture of the underside of the nib unit should anybody have a use. Some of the aforementioned caked ink can be seen. Any help is greatly appreciated! http://i.imgur.com/orjDLLE.png

    Parker 95 - Loose Nib

Hi all, I've just taken delivery of a Parker 95 and on gentle dismantlement for proper cleaning, discovered that the nib/feed are falling-out loose. When in proper alignment with the hood, the nib will come partially out with a gentle tap on the back of the section, although it feels somewhat firmer when off-centre. Looking into the hood, the air-channel is at approx 8:00, which doesn't seem to be right, looking at the nib/feed. I don't want to in mob-handed with a screwdriver or similar and try to rotate things without knowing exactly how (damage ahoy!), and I don't want to write it off and buy a replacement shell just yet when it feels like it should be fixable.
