Hi friends, I have always admired the Parker 75 fountain pen and over a period of time, have collected a modest assortment of these in various finishes. However, this one pen was eluding me for quite a while- the Parker 75 Cisele first year model with the metal threaded section. Even a few years back, one could find one listed on eBay occasionally, but no longer the case these days. Seems they have become scarcer, and when they do appear, they are listed at unrealistic and astronomical prices which simply do not justify purchase. Well, recently I have come across a supplier who has the same in mint condition and is asking for USD 300 shipped. Well, it is twice of what a regular model in mint condition and nearly thrice of what a nice user grade pen sells for. I ask for your opinion, my friends, as to the offer I have at hand. Best regards, SS

I am watching for a local Parker 75 USA Cisele, my first P75, at a good price. I am thinking this must be a replacement non-75 tassie on the fountain pen, is that correct, please?

Hello-I recently acquired a Parker 75 Sterling Silver Cisele fountain pen. The nib is gold in color, but is not hallmarked 14K, 585, etc. I have acquired and sold many of these pens but have never seen a nib that was not hallmarked as to its gold content. Can I assume it's 14K, or is it just gold plated? DId parker not hallmark all of it's gold nibs? I am going to resell it, but do not want to state a gold content that is not true. Thank you.

I have inherited from my deceased father a collection of Parker pens and pencils, and I am seeking help identifying exactly what I have and what each is worth. I probably will keep a mechanical pencil, but what I don't keep I will be trying to sell. My descriptions at this point (with accompanying images; I can take close-ups if helpful): IMG_0007: Parker Flighter 45 pen and pencil set. Ball-point pen and 0.9mm mechanical pencil. In original box (7-864-3(4) BPT-M PCL PARKER 45 MEDIUM STAINLESS STEEL written on the end of box). Silver with gold arrows, gold tops and gold tip on the pencil. Made in USA. Pencil works, pen needs refill. In excellent condition and original box.IMG_0008: Parker 75 Ciselé Sterling Cap&Barrel 0.9mm mechanical pen. Crosshatch grid pattern design with gold trim. Working and in good condition. I really appreciate any thoughts anyone has!
