    Noodlers Ahab Nib

    ericwriter posted a topic in Of Nibs & Tines

    I want to ask about a Noodlers Ahab pen that I have. I have noticed that while I write ink seems to seep on top of the nib in the slot between the tines. I don't know if that is normal for the pen or if it is unique to the Ahab nib. If not, is there a way to lessen the ink on top of the nib? Just wondered what others have experienced with this nib. Thank you, Eric

    Would Lady Patricia pens manufactured in the USA, Canada, England or other countries have been issued with a nib stamped 'Unique Medium' i.e. no Waterman's stamp. I do not have a picture of the nib in question...yet. Also, is this Moss Agate or Nacre (sellers very poor picture) thanks

    I received a beautiful Faber Castell Loom for Christmas and I was just wondering why the nib doesn't have a breather hole? It's a beautiful and unique looking nib, but I just thought the lack of a hole was interesting. Anyone know?? I have noticed that when I remove the cap (to write), that there's little to no nib creep from the air pressure change--which I LOVE! My Safaris and Metropolitans have pretty substantial leakage whenever I remove the caps. Thanks! Sorry for the poor quality pic.
