If anyone has any leads on this 'vintage' waterford, I'd be quite grateful. I have only poor quality photographs, which don't well show one distinguishing characteristic: On the barrel, there are black lines, shiny, producing a beveled look when hit by light, coming to a triangular point at each end, and alternating in size (long, short). It takes cartridge and convertor. It's red, has a shine to it, and likely chrome. Only says Waterford, Germany, and of course 1783 on the nib It writes quite well, sings a little, and was certainly a good purchase.

Hi guys! I haven't been around much lately, hope everyone's doing well :-) Tonight I picked up the little cutie below from an outdoor vintage stuff market, it's used and fairly grody. I'm really keen on using it, but before I start cleaning it I would like to identify it properly to make it easier to get accurate info on cleaning and such. But the furthest I got on IDing it is that it's a Delta Dolcevita (and only because it'ss helpfully written right on the cap...pen ID, ure doing it rong ). I found a blog post that says there are over 60 versions, and I would love to know more about which specific one it is. The nib looks like it might have some more numbers on it, but my loupe doesn't seem to be strong enough to read them - it's a 15x. Sorry for all the reflections in the picture, I know it could be better but this one's the first genuinely clear and sharp one in a dozen attempts - I'm just so klutzy tonight, I can't seem to get it right lol. I'm hoping this is enough, failing that I'll take another stab at it tomorrow in daylight. What do you guys think? -

Heya guys. My name is Adrian, and I have recently (after getting a few pens from my dad) become interested in fountain pens. Hey there, Totally new here so please excuse me if I already broke a rule! I was cleaning out my attic the other day and found a few pens that appear to be pretty old. Can anyone help me identify them and possibly their worth. They are very nice and hardly used. I want to start using them. One is Waterman the other a Cross. There are a few more and I will post them later. My mother handed this over to me, it's probably less than 30 years old but I cannot find a maker. It appears to be a turned brass, iridium tip, "Metall" on the clasp. Thanks for helping.

Hi Experts, This is a picture of my old pilot fountain pen. It writes butter-smooth with waterman florida blue ink. However, it has a little dryness associated with sailor inks. It has a F-nib and H983 is written on the nib. The nib, clip & trim are golden in color, they might be gold plated, I have no idea. I could not identify the pen. I started collecting pens, almost all rollerballs, somewhat by accident -- I bought a few pens I liked, then gifts followed and more of my own purchases and now I have almost 200 pens...time to catalogue them. Unfortunately I didn't know this would turn into a passion and didn't save all my paperwork. I am trying to identify this pen. It has gold trim with "Namiki" on the clip. The color didn't photograph well but it is a tortoise shell look in very dark purple and turquoise.

Just got my new Waterman in the mail today, but I can't seem to find out what type it is. It looks like one of the 5xx series (is that how I say that?), but has a glass cartridge. It also has a w5 nib, but doesn't look like any of the w5's I Googled. I'm feeling pretty clueless. Any guidance in the right direction would be really helpful. If any different pictures would help, I can add them. Thanks!

Could Someone Please Help Me Identify This Pen?

My great uncle recently died and I found some really nice pens in his house this was among them. http://imgur.com/a/45eo7#0 If anyone has any idea what brand or model it is I would be really grateful. Their are no distinct hallmarks on the cap or body so I have very little to go off when it comes to identifying it. I am also unaware of age, all that I know is my great uncle was 89 when he died. Any information would be greatly appreciated. -Tom -
I just bought an old Eclipse (it's en route right now), and am having a hell of a time finding out the usual product info: Date of manufacture, model, name of colour. Canadian and American production were simultaneous for many years, and produced different models from one another, so there's a dazzling baffling array of them out there. I'm posting the pic that the seller sent me, in case someone happens to know this particular pen. Regardless, I'd love to know of good resources for identifying Eclipse pens, as I'm sure more of them will find a way into my collection. The Eclipse is at the top of both pictures. I tried looking for others with the same type of band, but only found one that might have the same. The nib is Eclipse, but I haven't seen the clip. The old lady I bought them from didn't know what was going on, so she identified them from the engravings on the nibs. They worked out to $15 each after shipping, so I didn't really press the issue. Where was I going with that? Oh, did any of Eclipse's sub-brands have Eclipse nibs, and I'm barking up the wrong tree? PS. I added the pic of the nibs because everyone loves more pictures, even if we don't need them.

I got this pen for around ~60USD, I've tried searching for Platinum Sheep leather pen but the nibs on the ones I've found are different styled, and those pens don't have the arrow thing on the section. Hey, I'd love a little helping identifying this pen. It's a Packard, from the clip. Marbled bakelite, i think. Photo is attached. I paid $15 at an antique store. The rubber bladder inside is disintegrated, so my question is also, how to I go about getting a replacement and restoring this? thanks, Neil

Can Someone Id This Pen - Themis Vintage

Hi Folks I bought a pen on Ebay. It didn't cost much, £4.99 plus shipping, but I am intrigued as to what exactly it is. It was sold as a Themis Vintage Fountain pen, but google doesn't bring anything up for that brand, so hoping you guys may be able to shed some light on it. Here is a pic of the pen. This is what I know (which isn't much) Materials - Seems to be green plastic. Not sure about the feed, I am guessing plastic. It did smell a bit when I got it, almost like rubber bands, but I washed it and the smell went away, so I don't imagine anything other than plastic. Filling Mechanism - Piston filler. Small blind cap comes off to reveal a piston turning knob. With the blind cap on the pen it is barely noticeable that there is a break in the barrel. Seems to hold around 1.5ml of ink which is good on a relatively thin pen. also has a clear ink window. Pic of ink window Nib - 14k Gold, Semi Flex, would go from European Extra Fine to double broad maybe? It has a picture of a lion on the nib. Not something I recognize Here is a pic of the nib Cap - Green Plastic with gold(plated?) accents. The word THEMIS is written between the end of the clip and the centre band. I tried to capture it in these pics So Can anyone tll me anythign about it? It only cost a few pounds, so I don't mind if it is a cheap brand. It writes well, and seems a nice pen to have, so I am happy either way, just curious Thanks in advance Ren -
I recently acquired this pen, its an ED, the nib is marked Alloy Steel USA and on the clip is engraved FLEX. The Barrel has the words Flex, Free Flow printed. The colour and classic feel of the pen attracted me, looks mint. Google look up did not show any information...can anyone here help me identify this pen...

Hi. This is my first post here on FPN, but I think I'll be posting more and more as time goes on. However, my first issue is the following. My mother-in-law brought a pen to me to identify. After looking at it, I obviously noticed it was a Waterman. However, the next question I had was, "how does it fill?!" I don't see anywhere where it will twist opened, or any kind of lever/buttons/etc on the body of the pen that indicates its filling mechanism. The feed is completely smooth. Flexible nib. Here's a link to some pictures I took of the pen: Gallery. I can take more or provide more details if necessary. I really just want to know how old the pen is, how it fills, and how to clean it. I am helping an elderly friend liquidate some old pen sets she has inherited. One is a Sheaffer ballpoint & fountain pen set (see pics). I have been online for two days trying to identify the pens. I have had zero luck in finding a pen with this nib. The box, the paper, the pens all have Sheaffer and/or the old stylized "S" logo. I don't want to misrepresent this item so I was excited when I came across this site. HELP! Any info you can provide to identify this set would be greatly appreciated. Maybe it is not a real fountain pen? Maybe it is not a real Sheaffer? Thanks!

Friends I am a new memeber here . Recently happend to find a pen in an antique shop. I have attached the images here. i was told it is an antique parker though the nib i am told was replaced. Request my friends here in identifying the model of this parker pen, whether its genuine and whether i can get hold of the original nib for this.( if in India thta would be great) Waiting for your revert.
