Hi guys, I'm still here! I recently bought a Wearever at an antique stop. A bit of a learning experience -- made me look up the brand, and I learned that Wearever produced models prolifically, some even without names. That makes ID more challenging, of course, which is why I need your help. :3 I bought my pen for around eight bucks, by the way -- was that an OK deal? Anyway, so I am curious now as to what model it is, if it has a name, and where I can acquire a converter or cartridge(s) to use with it. The pen is the same as the one pictured to the far right in this eBay listing: http://www.ebay.com/...=item1e919703f8 . Thanks in advance for the help. (P.S. I recently purchased a black chased hard rubber pen on eBay, with the only markings being an imprint of a soldier on the cap, and "Cadet 14K 2 S" on the nib to give any indication of what make or model it might be. I've been trying to research Cadet, and have turned up nothing but Sheaffers (which this pen is decidedly NOT) and Summit, perhaps? It's a really nice pen, great writer with great flex, and much cleaner now than the listing photos I'm sharing. I'm just befuddled by the lack of information. And hoping that someone more knowledgeable of pen history might be able to shed some light on this little guy! Hi everyone, I recently inherited some pens, and I am slowly going through them to try and identify and value them. The first one of the batch is this Ted Lapidus fountain/ballpoint pen set. I cannot seem to find any info on them. Is anyone able to help me identify them?

Hello! Please may you help me to identify this pen? 80% of it seems "45"ish. But the below part, near the ball looks different, no? This pen looks quite old. Any idea of the year... and maybe price? Would really appreciate your help. Thank you very much (and sorry for my bad English).

Now I don't know much about pens, but I know what I like. And I do like this Duofold. It's currently on sale and I am considering whether it's worth shelling out for it. I've asked for better pictures but for now we will have to make do with these. Googling Parker sites teaches me this might be a Duofold Lucky Curve from the 1920s, but that just seems to good to be true. Could anyone ID this with more certainty? Also: what would be a reasonable price? Many thanks!

I was gifted this pen today by my grandmother, which I assume hasn't been used in quite some time. I think, based off of pictures, that this is a Parker 51 vacumatic. I'm not sure how to get the nib out, or open it up. The top part of the barrel either doesn't or won't twist off, so I'm hesitant to try anything since I don't know what I have here. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi guys! I must say I LOVE this forum. Here in Puerto Rico there is little to NO support or service or anything for fountain pens. I've only seen ONE store which marks up prices roughly %20. Anyway, this pen was given to me by my aunt about two years ago, my first fountain pen. I didn't know exactly how a fountain pen should feel, but she had this pen for probably around 20+ years or more before she gave it to me. Since I got into the fountain pen game, I can tell something's wrong. So I would like to ID the pen first, to see if maybe replacing the converter could help it. The pen says Montblanc Meisterstuck Pix on the cap ring, 4810 14K gold on the nib, the barrel is NOT see through in any part ( I've read about some Monts that have an ink view window). I hope these pics help. This forum is the ONLY real source of Fountain pen information I have, other than good ol' online searching. Thanks for your help!

I recently purchased 3 inkwells through Ebay. All under $10 which surprised me except for the small one without a lid(which I am seeking if anyone knows the maker of it and may have a spare). I am just wondering if anyone knows anything about these. I will post information directly from the Ebay listings in quotation marks to hopefully give some clues. 1 - The one with missing lid - "It measures about 2 1/2" square and about 2 1/4' high. It glows a light green under a black light which I believe makes it from the early 1900's." 2 - Ornate Inkwell with crystal inkwell container. "Solid brass inkwell. Four footed swirled leaf and vine design with square glass ink reservoir. Measures 7" long x 5" wide x 2" tall. Glass reservoir measures 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" and has a 1 1/2" solid brass cap." 3 - The dark more bulky inkwell with ceramic insert. "EARLY METAL FLORAL DESIGN GERMAN INKWELL WITH CERAMIC INSERT SIGNED HP. GERMAN INKWELL SIGNED WITH AN "HP" ON BOTTOM AND THE PLACE WHERE IT WAS MADE, GERMANY. THERE IS A CRACK ON ONE OF THE LEGS, AND I TRIED TO SHOW IT AS WELL AS I COULD IN THE PHOTOS. THE CERAMIC INSERT IS ORIGINAL. IT IS 4" LONG - 3 1/4" WIDE AND 1 3/4" TALL. THERE IS A FLORAL DESIGN ON TOP AND AROUND INKWELL. "

Does anyone know what kind of pen this is? It is 12 cm long uncapped. The cap says Conway Stewart on the clip, but it does not fit, and I doubt it was original. The pen is 12 cm long with a distinctive ink window and a hooded nib. It resisted taking apart, and I did not force it. It is a piston filler with blind cap covering the screw mechanism. The knob of the cap is set a bit off center, and moves what looks to be a white plastic piston. It works, or at least it draws water. The only marking on the pen is 732M incised on the barrel just above the blind cap. Attached are three pictures.

Hello all! My first 2 Esterbrooks arrived, and I'm super excited! One is grey and one is blue. The blue pen is 4.5 inches long. The gray didn't have a cap, so that's a reason to cruise antique stores and garage sales for a while. I got them both open and the nibs soaking. One of the sacs came out, but the other is stuck in the barrel. I understand delicate exploration with tweezers is called for here? The one where the sac came out also dumped a broken J bar. Can anyone help with IDing the pens I got? The original eBay listing is here, and I'll get some milimeter measurements and more pictures up later when I dig out that ruler. Thank you! WirsPlm
