So this ink has picked up a little bit of notice for being insanely fast-drying. I mean insanely. You can't smear this ink. Don't even try. You'll just disappoint yourself. It's also very nicely water resistant. It has a matte texture to it. No glossiness. Just pitch dark color. That said, there are tradeoffs for this ink. It soaks into the paper so quickly (even rhodia) that there will be bleed through. I'm not the sort of person to be bothered by showthrough. But it bleeds. I used a fine-tipped pen for this review. The pen runs a little wide (thanks Lamy) and it's got a wet-ish flow. So bear that in mind. I think with a Japanese fine nib or an extra fine nib or perhaps a drier writer, you may not have as much tendency to bleed through. That said, I wouldn't count on this one being a both-sides-of-the-page writer. For the amount of bleeding, there was surprisingly minor feathering. There was still some. Mostly there was a good deal of spread. So again, maybe not a fine-line-writer. I don't think this is a broad nib, stub nib, flex nib kind of ink. If you like using fine nib pens, and you want something for notes, or super-fast-dry, this is a good ink for you.
