  1. Good evening from France, I just received this pen which was included in a lot of pen I bought online. It says Pat'd May 24 1898 on the cap and the Waterman #2 nib seems to have some reasonable flex. Any one able to help me identify the model? When it comes to vintage pens I am mostly focused on Mabie Todds and am rather out of my depth here ;-) Have a very good day guys,
  2. Greetings, I've come upon a lovely and brassing-free full cone cap overlay...but alas is missing the nib and feed. I've positively identified the nib I'm hunting for as an Aiken Lambert #1. If I find the nib, I can probably fabricate a feed by turning down one I have ... Let me know if you might have one kicking around in a parts drawer! Cheers, Morgan

    Sheaffer Identification

Hello, Got this sheaffer on my vacation trip and needed help to identify it. http://s5.postimg.org/hw5zz0drb/sheaffer3a.jpg http://s5.postimg.org/6xuqgtp5z/sheaffer3b.jpg http://s5.postimg.org/9ggfhiaw7/sheaffer3c.jpg Best regards.

Cap To Something, But No Pen.

Okay... I have somehow acquired a flat top black Sheaffer pen cap, but I've never had the pen. Can anyone tell me what is supposed to sit under this cap, please? And, how difficult is finding a pen? The ball on the clip is flat. There is a slight hump on the clip. Flat top and a single gold band.
  5. Dear All, This pen was in a recent auction lot. I don't know which model number should be attached to it or anything very much about it. I'm hoping that those who have far greater experience than I do can provide me with more information. As far as I can tell, the nib is damaged beyond repair and I don't know whether to junk the pen or consider a repair. All info gratefully received! Many thanks in anticipation, S The pen measures 41/4 " or 11 cm capped. It is gold-filled. The top of the clip is marked 'PAT SER 5-16' followed by the Parker name. The only other marking/imprint is at the base of the cap where it reads 'Parker Fountain Pen Gold Filled Patent Pen.' The barrel is engraved with alternating lines and a diamond pattern. There is no engraving on the cap. The pen is a button filler. The feed is a typical 'Lucky curve' type feed (sorry about the poor quality phone photo). The nib is damaged and I don't know whether it is original to the pen.
