  1. 1. From birth onwards correct development of bones and connective tissues is essential in order to avoid future hand and finger deformities. 2. Dysgraphia is a condition wherby children find it difficult to put thoughts into the written word. When using a conventional pen and adopting the wrong writing posture this can lead to: Tight, awkward pencil grip and body positionAvoiding writing or drawing tasksTrouble forming letter shapesInconsistent spacing between letters or words3. As with all learning disabilities (LD), dysgraphia is a lifelong challenge, although how it manifests may change over time. A student with this disorder can benefit from specific accommodations in the learning environment. Extra practice learning the skills required to be an accomplished writer can also help. 4.It is essential to recognise the onset of such problems and to address them correctly at an early stage of the childs development. 5. By using the RinG-Pen Ultra (link removed by moderator) this will help in various ways: Encourage proper grip, posture and paper positioning for writing.It’s important to reinforce this early as it’s difficult for students to unlearn bad habits later on.Remediation: providing instruction for improving handwriting and writing skills.Ensure correct healthy development of bones and tissues and so prevent other peripheral postural problems at a later stage.
