  1. Great review! I was thinking about buying one of these for awhile but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Seems worth it to me!
  2. Thanks for the great review! Although it does seem a bit bland I do love the color- blue inks are my favorite.
  3. Faber Castell Loom with Noodler's Liberty Elysium!
  4. I keep around 3 inked. One of my pens, my Pilot Metropolitan in a fine, is always inked up with Noodler's Black to use on any type of paper I encounter. However, the rest of my pens tend to vary on what I'm feeling like that day.
  5. Noodler's Liberty Elysium- switching to a more vivid color from Noodler's Black ended up being messier than I anticipated.
  6. What an interesting and wonderful read. Thank you very much for sharing!
  7. What a wonderfully generous giveaway! Please put me in for the Kaweco Sport, have been wanting to get one for awhile Thanks again!
  8. I would love to try this paper, heard such great things!
  9. Thanks all for the great information! To anybody here with one- how would you say the Falcon compares to the Justus 95? Although I love the look of the Falcon nib, the adjustable nib also looks to be useful for use on the hard setting when taking notes and jotting down simple things, and then set to soft when it's time for a little fun. Also, how does the flex compare between the two?
  10. Hey everybody! I am looking into getting my first "next level" fountain pen, and by this, I mean breaking into the 100 dollar+ price range. I want something I will be able to use everyday in school for note taking and various other tasks on both Clairefontaine paper as well as less than ideal quality paper. I like the nib width of my Metropolitan- it's thin enough to perform well on cheap paper, yet very manageable to take notes for extended periods of time with, which is why I am looking into the soft fine Falcon. I am hoping the nib will be about the same width, yet smoother than my Metrop
  11. Awesome, thanks for the info. I will most likely get a 74 with the soft fine nib.
  12. Wow... sounds like although the Sonnet is a great pen, I may save that for later in favor of the Custom 74! I also like the idea of the soft fine nib Thanks all for your great information and advice!
  13. I've taken a look at both- they seem to be pretty nice.. hard decision. If the Prelude's grip section is anything like the Safari's... that'll be a problem I was also looking at a Pilot Custom 74, preferably in a soft fine... I would be using the pen mostly for note taking in classes. Does it compare to either the Sheaffer or Parker?
  14. Thank you very much! Amazon is where I'd be purchasing from, the one I'm eyeing is being sold used from the Amazon Warehouse for 84 dollars. I'm too scared to buy off ebay I really like the look of the pen (matte black lacquer with gold trim), and I'm happy to hear it performs well too
