Danitrio Fellowship Pen Map

Recommended Posts

Kevin mentioned that it would be cool to have a map of where all the Fellowship pens have ended up. Rather than giving the poor man more work, I've created a google map that the fellowship can add their own pen location to.

Here's a google map I've created - anyone can add their location and FPN handle

Click on "Edit" and it allows you to add your pin on the map and you can make the description you FPN handle. Click "Save" when you're done.

Maybe I'm being dense, but which edit?

There should be an edit button under "Google Maps" and on the right of "Colaborate"

I'm starting to wonder if this only appears for people who are signed into their google account.

Doug, if it doesn't work just PM me your location and the flavour of your pen and I'll add it in. Actually this applies to anyone who wants to be added but can't do it.

Oh no. The map has Chris out in the ocean. Do you and your pen live on a boat?

Hi! No, not on a boat - as much as I would love that - but on the little island below Australia - the smallest State -

Tasmania. It is so small the pin blocks it out - but if you zoom in you can see it I hope!

Each day is the start of the rest of your life!

Make it count!!!

 Nice idea!

With the diversity of ethnic backgrounds on the island, there has got to be more Danitrio followers. (OTOH, a lot of my oriental friends seem to prefer the classic prestigious MB's)

With Aloha,

Clarence

Here's where we are up to so far:

There must be more pens in Europe and Asia? I can't believe there are none in South America and Africa? California has more than their fair share!

Great idea.

Yes, I did have to sign in to be able to add my information. I was able to add my pin, but the explnation of my pen won't take. I will go back later to figure it out.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
