Tonight I took my PR Sherwood green that is a very nice dark green but too dark to suit me and my PR Spearmint that is very nice but too light/bright to suit me and combined the two. These are the small sample bottles from Pear Tree Pens. Anyway, mixing 1:1 of Sherwood and Spearmint produces a really great green color. It's dark enough to look rich and bright enough to look vivid. I think I'll get a bottle of each and mix some more to use as my personal normal green color.

Support the entire Constitution, not just the parts you like.

These are not great photos but at least will show the difference in hue of the originals and the mixture. This is just some ramblings to get ink on paper to see what it looked like.

It really is a very nice green. You can't tell from my awful photos and the non-white paper but it really is nice. I'm sometimes told I think too much but once in a while I get good results like this. I'm thinking of buying a bottle of each and mixing my own. That might not make a lifetime supply but I sure wouldn't run out any time soon.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
