Oh, The Collodi was written with a MB 146 EF and my mix with a Pilot Custom 74 F. No calibration on monitor or scanner. On my screen it appears a bit more to the red side than the caramel brown I see on paper.

Let me begin by saying well done, your ink matching is fantastic. :)

 

However, Ink of Love is a LE ink and already out of stock at most retailers. It might be worth finding a substitute red!

Interesting. But you wrote Ink of Friendship, which is blue. Did you mean orange Ink of Joy or red Ink of Love?

Ah, well caught. Yes, I meant Ink of Joy. tsk tsk, dementia setting in. I havent tried reworking this after the post. This weekend might be a good time :)

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
