New Pen Box From Geoff At Pencase

Peningitis

Recommended Posts

Well, I received my new 50 pen, 5 drawer pen box from Geoff in the UK (pencase.co.uk). It is wonderful. Great woodwork, great price, really quick deliver, and packaged like it was meant to be dropped from an airplane. I can't believe the price on these. In the Houston area, this quality of case is only available for around $600 plus.

I have the same said pen case. At the time I only had 16 pens, so wanted to go for a smaller 30-pen case. After a few e-mails, I went for the 50-pen with Geoff advising me I would probably fill it in time. Now at 34 pens (and climbing), I am so glad I took his advice.

It is a great case, looks perfect on my desk and everyone seems to like the cute look of it. Geoff is fantastic to deal with; a real gent.

I am certain you will enjoy your case as much as I do mine.

Regards,

GHF

I have one of these on my 'wish list'. Black with pink interior I think. But I have bills to pay, Birthday presents to buy etc etc first. :crybaby:

But one day......

These pen cases are extremely well made and look attractive. The finish is durable and I am confident that they will still look attractive for the next generation of pen collectors.

Design is well thought out and purpose made for fountain pens.

If you have a pen storage problem Geoffs cases are an excellent solution

I can't wait to get mine. Right now, most of my pens are scattered about my shelves on towels. The super expensive ones (in my estimation) are in my ONE, 8-pen case. It is not a good state of affairs. My box is set to arrive this week, I think. And Geoff was AMAZING to deal with. :)

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
