• None for both inks.

• None after 3 days for both inks.

Clogging:

• Not seen for both inks.

Bleed Through:

• None on papers used for for these samples from both inks.

Show Through:

• None on papers used for both inks.
• Both sides of the sheet may be used.

Clean-up:

• Both took longer than usual.
• For PRAB, a long-ish soak before last rinses would not be amiss.

I really appreciate Sandy1's ink reviews, particularly the highly objective data based comparisons.

 

I have been studying Sandy1's recent series on Blues - "One of the Ten," trying to find my perfect Blue: true blue (no purple), intense saturated color, pen friendly, great flow for BB nibs, great lubrication, no staining (oh how I lust for Bay State Blue), and relatively quick drying for a fast righty.

 

This tells me I should give Visconti Blue another look to see if I like it better than my default Private Reserve American Blue.
