Hi There,

I am here to post a review of a beautiful looking Parker Sonnet Special Edition Silver/Blue Fountain Pen.

I love this pen and it is one of my favorite pen :cloud9: :bunny01:

1. Appearence : 10/10 It is a beautiful looking pen. Shining silver body, Blue cap and silver trim It looks awesome. The silver body is highly polished and shines a lot. I dont know with what material the cap of the pen is made but it looks like some kind of hard rubber but it is v high quality material and looks so good on silver body.

2. Nib : This pen has 18K Solid gold nib and mine is M sized. It writes wet and smooth. I will give the nib 10/10.

3. Weight & Balance : This pen has silver barrel and it feels perfect in hand with the cap on. All the Sonnets has same lenght/width specifications and I realy like the design of the Sonnets. I will give this pen 10/10 for its balance/weight in hand.

4. Summary : This pen is hell of looker and it perform v v good. So this pen got 10/10. I bought one first and I couldnt resist to buy another one  I have uploaded some of its pictures I hope you will enjoy it.

Take Care

Wow! That's a beautiful pen. I only wish the grip was the same color as the cap. That would add some uniformity to the presentation. Thanks for providing us with pictures and a review of this gorgeous version of the Sonnet.

Thats just great I thought the same thing when I got the pen first time in my hand that if that black section was of same colour as cap that would realy make it look outstanding. but still it looks awesome.

Take Care.

What a nice pen! Where did you buy it? :D

From Lewertowsky (ebay seller, Pen Seller From France)... I hope I spelled it correctly :ltcapd:

I love my Sonnett and if I saw one of those I'd go for it in a heartbeat even though I am rather conventional and plain in how I like my pens to look. Beautiful.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
