Is the barrel black or very dark brown?

Probably my two favorite of three WEs. Schiller follows closely after Wilde.

This is one of my favourite WEs. The domed cap and the riveted clip are what attract me the most, an the reconstituted amber cap really make it special. I am saving up to get mine in February.

Shoosh dont tell them that,its a secrate.

And anyways if Tzutzik will know I bought it for him to match his fur it will get to his head and he will walk around the house feeling he owns it.

The barrel is black... Thats why I love the WEs, the nibs are so unique... Well at least with most of them...

 

So is it just the cap that is longer than the Dumas?

Actually they are the same length. Its just the angle of the photo. The Dumas is the slightest bit longer with out cap.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.
