I will hang my head in shame and confess that I am the person who ordered too much Callifolio ink--so I'm glad I could put it in Amber's much more capable hands for her reviews. About the best thing I can say is that the bottles are uniquely shaped (see above). Here they are in all their glory....

 

The light is bad at this time of day, but tomorrow I will post a photo of the inside of the caps of all four bottles I have, and you'll be able to see that there is really very little to differentiate these shades of blue-black (which the website suggests run from a purplish-blue to a grayish-blue).

The bottles are dang cool, and I have to say that they are supercool when placed together. I appreciate you sending me the pouches. As a shipping method, those are amazing! BTW, I think you should post some of your thoughts about the disconnect between the website and the actual inks.

 

Also are the bottled inks identical? I know they are supposed to be....

I'm having real problems with L'Artisan Pastellier. They sent my order to the wrong address & are now completely ignoring my emails. Very disappointed.

      Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy.       I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off.
