Wow ! Lovely picture and what a bike :-) My Guzzi is currently showing in the 'Other Hobbies' thread in Chatter.

Thanks. I  bought my first Guzzi sport in about 72, a red frame and blue tank. It was never the fastest and other people with 750 Hondas were always quicker until it came to the corners.

I'm more the chopper type, but being bikeless, if someone handed me the keys to a Guzzi, I'd be quite happy. The new ones are an improvement on the old good ones. I wanted low end punch, and thought a Guzzi like a BMW to much a middle rev'er.

If wishes were motorcycles, I'd have an Indian.

I miss my 1000SP (purchased new in mid-1979) and the trips/experiences riding that \bike. I changed the bars to about what shows in this image and put a smaller shield on the fork mounted fairing of the SP.
