Glad to be of service. I try to help. I know my calligraphy fountain pens don’t work. Stub nibs are no good need a nice pointed nib.

I have an Osmiroid copperplate nib hanging around somewhere as well. Those tines are super long and the tip is almost dip nib like.

    You have such a lovely hand! What year M400 are you using?  I think I am going to sort through my collection and dip everything to see which pen works well with what hand.

    I think I will keep an eye out for a vintage Pelikan at the next pen show. Every one I have seen or tried has had an excellent nib. Mine are all ‘90s save my 140. I am also thinking of getting the nib on my Waterman’s 52 ground a bit finer to get the hairlines right.
