Parker Converters:

1. The earliest, piston style; notice that the Eversharp name appears on it: 0.8 ml.
2. Early squeeze converter: 0.9 ml.
3. Somewhat later squeeze converter, with a little less metal on the back end: 0.9 ml.
4. 1970′s squeeze converter; the shape more closely mimics the cartridge, so it fits more pens: 0.5 ml.
5. Slide converter, the current style: 0.6 ml.
6. “Deluxe” piston converter, suspiciously like Waterman’s converter with a different mouth: 0.6 ml.

 

Converters 1, 2, & 3 all have thick bands around their centres. They will not fit in to any Parker pen that was designed after 1980.

Of the Parker pens of which I own examples, they do fit in to the Parker 45 and Parker 75.
They may also fit other pre-1980 Parkers, but do not fit in to my Parker 25 (designed in 1974).
