I'm afraid this is not a good color and not something good. 

Original color would have been Lady Patricia Persian (greenish color with swirls).

Brownish color although it looks nice is due to discoloration from the latx sac and other things (I'm no expert on this topic. that's what i think it is. I could be wrong here).  Sort of the faded color at the very end of the barrel is an indication of crystalizing.

This pen unfortunately doesn't have too long. At some point this celluloid is going to crystalize and fail (crumbling).

Also I can notice the strong smell when pen is uncapped. I have switched the cap to a hard rubber cap and have started to keep it on my desk to ensure it gets enough ventilation to hopefully slow down the crystalizing process, as far as I know,  once this process starts there is no way to stop it

if you ever get the option to buy a pen like this, best to avoid it

Well, the nib is definitely worth saving!
