Pen Storage Boxes and Trays
Took a break from pen purchases to organize the collection. A few pen tray ideas and storage boxes.
Typical Cigar Box. I made the slots out of matte board and covered them in a non-stretching velvet. The trays allow for stacked trays. 26 pens in a box.
Different cigar box with a different tray layout. Allows for longer pens and shorter pens in the same box.
Found a good deal on plastic jewelers trays for $1. Made the slots out of PVC wall trim and covered them in felt and rice paper. Trim is easy to cut with x-acto knife. Hot glue in the back with matte board stiffeners.
Same PVC Trim tray in decorative rice paper.
PVC Trim can be hot-glued into trays without the plastic displays

Rebuilt Emerald Vac Max 3rd Gen
A rebuilt Emerald Vac Max 3rd Gen. The section was from a standard size pen that was epoxied to the barrel. The feed was broken and epoxied off center to the channel. There is residual epoxy on the nib.

Pelikan 120
My collection. My Pelikan 120 has a polystyrene collar. So, it can be dated 1960's (please see Pelikan 400NN ). This also suggests that the cap safety device was still installed in 1960's pens.
