1970s Era Montblanc 149 Fountain Pen
For sale from my collection is an excellent condition and stunning Montblanc 149 with a 1970s three tone medium 18C nib. The pen comprises the best of vintage and new.

I purchased this pen in 2016 from the son of the original owner. It had some issues as it had been sitting for years. Its piston was stuck and it had a damaged feed.

I sent it off to Montblanc around that time for repairs and they returned it with a new barrel and piston mechanism, and a new feed.

The pen retains it original cap and cap bands, its original clip with Germany inscribed on it and its wonderful three toned 18c medium nib which makes this a most enjoyable writer with nice ink flow. As MB collectors will know 18c nibs are relatively rare, make very desirable writers and are collectable.

If you are looking for a vintage MB 149 experience with the confidence of a trouble free writing experience this is a great choice. The pen has only been used on occasion so its new parts are still like new and will provide many, many years of service.
