The show starts Friday, March 1st, and runs through Sunday, March 3rd. It will be three full days of buying, selling, and trading the world’s greatest (new and old) fountain pens, ballpoints, and anything else that writes. We will have a house full of modern and vintage dealers. This year’s show will host multiple seminars ranging from pen history to nib tuning to calligraphy classes, and other writing classes.
Pendemonium Pen Event - The 2nd Annual Kingman Pen Meetup in Kingman, Arizona - March 9, 2019 Pendemonium is pleased to host a joint meet up of the Las Vegas, Phoenix and Tuscon pen clubs at a special pen event scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2019. You don't need to belong to one of the pen clubs, ALL fountain pen people and those with an interst in pens are welcome. In 2018, we had pen people from as far as Los Angeles come to this event. Even if you're just curious about fountain pens and don't think of yourself as a collector, we hope you'll come and learn about the world of collectible writing instruments. Meet at Calico's Restaurant 418 E Beale St in downtown Kingman at 11am for lunch (on your own nickel!). Calico's has a huge menu with something for everyone. We'll be in the front room which overlooks Route 66 and Calico's beautiful Cactus Gardens. Bring some pens for show & tell or to sell or trade. We will have some freebie writing related items for everyone along with some things for sale. At 1pm, we'll proceed to Downtown Pendemonium inside Time Was Antiques at 427 E Beale St. We'll be offering up a very special discount on everything in Downtown Pendemonium to all who come to the Kingman Pen Meetup. Downtown Pendemonium closes at 4pm on Saturday. You will have time on your own to explore and shop in historic old town Kingman, numerous antique and specialty shops in a three block radius. Gather at Blackbridge Brewery at 3pm for a beverage(craft beer, wine, cold brew coffee, sodas) and to wrap up our day of fountain pens in historic downtown Kingman, Arizona. The Long Island Pen Show, New York’s only pen show, offers everything to do with pens, vintage and modern. Featuring, on site nib work by Richard Binder, pen repair by Jim Baer-Monomoy Pens, Nib work and repairs by Indy-Pen-Dance and , and Josh Lax. Also free pen appraisal, "Pens for Kids" program, Ink and paper sampling with J Herbin and Rhodia from Exaclair and Noodlers Ink from Luxory Brands Inc are offered. Some of the many exhibitors include: Anderson Pens, Fountain Pen Hospital, Toys from the Attic, Federalist Pens, Kenro Industries featuring Aurora, Easterbrook and Montegrappa Pens. Place: The KITSILANO branch of the Vancouver Public Library, located at 2425 Macdonald Street (between Broadway & West 8th) in Vancouver, BC. This is the same venue where we met in January.
The meeting will take place in their community/meeting room, which is on the lowest level of the library's basement. No food allowed in the library, but covered drinks are ok.
